The Opportunity: A Path to Medical Director
This is not your typical leadership role.
You'll join initially as an Associate Veterinarian, working closely alongside our current Medical Director, who is actively planning and seeking a successor. Over time, you'll be mentored and gradually transition into the Medical Director position.
This role is ideal for someone who: • Wants to grow into leadership with hands-on mentorship • Values a collaborative and thoughtful transition, not being "thrown in" • Is motivated to shape the future of a hospital while honoring its legacy
What You'll Do • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care • Build strong relationships with clients and patients • Collaborate closely with the current Medical Director and team • Gradually take on leadership responsibilities, including: o Mentoring and supporting fellow DVMs o Contributing to medical protocols and standards of care o Helping guide hospital growth and team development
What We're Looking For • DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school • 3-5+ years of small animal clinical experience • Strong foundation in medicine, surgery, and dentistry • Interest in leadership, mentorship, and team development • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset • A desire to build long-term relationships within the hospital and community
